Sziget Festival is one of the biggest multi-genre music festivals in the world, taking place in Budapest. VOLT Festival is one of Hungary’s biggest music festivals, taking place in Sopron. Getting its title from the pop culture magazine of the same name, the festival has been running annually since 1993.
Teaming up with Sziget to become sibling festivals, VOLT presents a multi-genre lineup featuring artists for electronic, rock, pop, jazz, and urban genres.
But of course any world class festival is about more than music, and Volt is no different, offering theater performances, visual art exhibitions, film screenings, sporting events and more.

Spend a night with Hárslevelű wines! This festival is a perfect choice for wine lovers. The name is an abbreviation of Hárslevelűk Éjszakája, which means the Night of Hárslevelű wines, because the tasting showcases around 20 wineries with their approximately 40–50 Hárslevelű wines – however do not expect a night tasting, the event finishes at 9 pm.
